Sarah Rossall, PA-C
Sarah is a board certified Physician Assistant with a background in internal medicine treating medically complex adults. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Edgewood College. As an undergraduate student, she completed a review of research on the neuroendocrinology of major depression, and was particularly interested in the role stress plays in the etiology of depression. She has a special interest in ADHD, depression, anxiety, and sleep disorders as well as the connection between microbiomes and mental health. Sarah is also interested in research involving the role of complementary therapies such as mindfulness and meditation, yoga, and acupuncture in achieving mental and physical health.
She uses active listening techniques and provides non-judgmental, empathetic care to all patients. She believes in tailoring treatment to each individual using evidence-based medicine and best practice to provide an optimal treatment plan, while also addressing overall health and lifestyle changes. Sarah is currently pursuing a rigorous Certificate of Added Qualification in Psychiatry, which is a voluntary credential for PAs to demonstrate a commitment to the field of Psychiatry.
